The Chamber Mentoring Program is just what you have been seeking.
The ways in which we deal with the unique challenges faced in our business community can lead to innovation, opportunity and growth. Mentoring is a creative way to encourage unity within the community, keeping our economy strong.
The Chamber Mentoring Program matches business owners and employees who could benefit from guidance and support in a particular career field, business endeavor, or community service effort (Mentees) with volunteer Chamber members who have the skills, experience, and "time in the trenches" to provide that guidance and support (Mentors). Mentoring takes place from May through October. A minimum of one in-person meeting per month to establish goals, develop strategies and review progress, as well as weekly contacts, are required for the program.
