June is off to a strong start as Chamber members gathered for workforce development conversations, networking opportunities, ribbon cuttings, and celebrations of the businesses that continue to strengthen our region.

The week began Tuesday at Sierra College’s Rocklin campus, where regional leaders from business, education, and government came together for the 2026 Sierra Workforce Summit. With Chamber CEO Ananda Rochita serving as emcee, this year’s summit focused on how artificial intelligence is reshaping talent pipelines, hiring practices, and the skills employers need today and into the future.

Attendees participated in an insightful fireside chat, a candid employer panel featuring voices from across the region, and hands-on workshops designed to help participants develop real-world solutions to workforce challenges. The event concluded with a student success panel that highlighted the next generation of talent entering our workforce.

The Roseville Area Chamber was proud to partner in this important regional conversation as we continue working to ensure our community is prepared for the future of work.

The Membership Team also kicked off June with a busy week of connection and celebration. Tuesday started with a ribbon cutting for the grand opening of Estia Roseville, attended by Roseville Mayor Krista Bernasconi, Vice Mayor Karen Alford, Roseville City Council Member Bruce Houdesheldt, Assemblyman Joe Patterson, and representatives from the offices of Congressman Kevin Kiley and Senator Roger Niello.

On Wednesday, our volunteers gathered at Sierra View Country Club for the monthly Ambassador Luncheon, hosted in the club’s beautifully remodeled event space.

Later that evening, more than 40 members attended the monthly Member Mixer at Chicago Fire Pizza, continuing to build relationships and strengthen connections throughout the Chamber community.

Chamber staff and Ambassadors also enjoyed a luncheon on Thursday catered by STYLE Magazine, whose generosity and support continue to strengthen partnerships throughout the region.

The day brought another opportunity to celebrate local business success with a ribbon cutting for the grand opening of Designing Dreams Flooring & Remodeling.

The week concluded Friday with yet another grand opening celebration as Menchie’s Frozen Yogurt in Granite Bay officially opened its doors with a ribbon cutting and community celebration.

The Chamber is also pleased to welcome three new members this week: Real Connections Media, Lynch Business Services, and Golden Age Retirement Home LLC.

One of the highlights of May was seeing so many businesses continue their involvement with the Chamber. Whether newly joining the network or maintaining a long-standing connection, these organizations contribute to the collaboration, innovation, and community spirit that make Roseville and Placer County such a great place to do business.

We are grateful for the businesses, community leaders, Ambassadors, and members who make our Chamber such a vibrant and thriving organization.

As we reflect on another successful Placer Valley event, we remain grateful for the incredible dialogue, engaging speakers, and valuable regional insights shared throughout the day. The event brought together leaders from across industries for meaningful conversations about the opportunities and challenges shaping our region’s future.

If you missed out, be sure to check out some of the highlights in our new video showcasing the Placer Valley 2026 event HERE.

With planning already beginning for next year, we encourage attendees and community members to share recommendations in this survey for future topics, panel discussions, and keynote speakers to help make Placer Valley 2027 even more impactful.

In advocacy updates, California voters headed to the polls this week as Primary Election results began coming in across the state. Several races with direct impacts on our region are being closely watched, including:

California State Senate District 6

California State Assembly District 5

Placer County Board of Supervisors - District 1 (Bonnie Gore running unopposed)

Placer County Board of Supervisors - District 2

Placer County Superior Court Judge - Seat 3

U.S. House - California District 6

As election results continue to be finalized, the Chamber remains committed to monitoring issues and leadership decisions that affect the business community and the economic future of our region.
