Chamber Highlights | Week Of Jun. 8-12
June 12, 2026
It was another busy week at the Chamber, filled with opportunities for members to connect, learn, celebrate local businesses, and engage in conversations shaping the future of our region.
We are honored to share that the Roseville Area Chamber of Commerce has been recognized with the California Chamber of Commerce President’s Circle Award, a distinction recognizing local chambers for excellence in business advocacy and engagement.
This award reflects the collective efforts of our Board of Directors, volunteer leaders, members, and staff who work year-round to champion policies that support a strong business climate and vibrant local economy. We are proud to represent the interests of the Roseville business community at the local, regional, and state levels.
Thank you to the California Chamber of Commerce for this recognition and to our members for their continued partnership and support. Together, we are helping shape a stronger future for business in Roseville and beyond.

The Membership Team kicked off Monday with the Home Services Roundtable, bringing together home service provider members to connect, collaborate, and share ideas.

On Tuesday, entrepreneurs gathered for the monthly Entrepreneur Development Group (EDG), facilitated by Dr. Brian Gladden, followed by the Chamber Luncheon featuring Lt. Tyler Neher and the Placer Cold Case Foundation. Attendees learned about the Foundation’s mission to support families and keep Placer County cold cases active until they are solved.
Wednesday continued the momentum as the Women in Business group partnered with SRBX for a joint member mixer that welcomed approximately 60 attendees. The event provided another opportunity for professionals from across the region to build relationships and strengthen community connections.

The Chamber also celebrated two local businesses this week with ribbon cuttings. Sacred Studios was recognized on Wednesday, followed by Nexus Lounge & VR on Thursday, as both businesses marked exciting milestones in their growth and service to the community.

In addition, we were pleased to welcome five new members to the Chamber family:
- Air Force Sergeants Association
- BJS Law, Inc.
- IMAGE Studios Roseville
- Baseline Juice LLC
- Behind the Badge – Golden State Troopers
We are excited to continue growing a diverse and engaged membership that contributes to the strength of our regional business community.
Friday morning, IGNITE hosted a Coffee Chat at Bloom Coffee and Tea, where attendees heard from Mike Shellito of the Leadership Roseville Steering Committee. Shellito shared insights into the Leadership Roseville program, highlighting the experiences, community connections, and leadership opportunities available to participants. With applications now open through July 10, attendees were encouraged to explore the program and consider becoming part of the next class of emerging community leaders.

This week also provided an opportunity to highlight an impactful community program. Chamber President & CEO Ananda Rochita visited the Roseville Fire Department’s Fire Kids Camp at the invitation of the department and witnessed firsthand the difference the program is making in the lives of local youth. Throughout the week, campers learn firefighting basics, rescue techniques, first aid, teamwork, leadership skills, and more while working alongside Roseville firefighters. The program builds confidence, develops life skills, and introduces participants to potential careers in public safety. Thank you to the firefighters, staff, and volunteers who dedicate their time and energy to creating such a meaningful experience for the next generation.
In advocacy updates, the Chamber is monitoring AB 1776, legislation that would significantly expand California antitrust liability beyond federal standards. Opponents argue the bill could increase litigation risk and regulatory uncertainty for businesses while discouraging investment, innovation, and legitimate business practices by creating broader avenues for antitrust claims.

The measure has passed the Assembly and is currently pending in the Senate, with a hearing scheduled for June 30 before the Senate Judiciary Committee. The Chamber will continue tracking the bill’s progress and sharing updates as additional information becomes available, including forthcoming guidance from the California Chamber of Commerce regarding potential impacts on small businesses.
