Another week at the Roseville Area Chamber brought fresh opportunities to connect, collaborate, and support local businesses, while also looking ahead to several exciting events on the horizon.

 

The Membership Team kept the momentum going throughout the week with another great lineup of programs for members. Tuesday's Creative Collab Roundtable brought together professionals from the creative community for networking, collaboration, and a workshop featuring an expert panel.

 

Brian Noel of GRDN Media, Luke Cordova of Lock In Digital Marketing, and Ash Benevent of The Local Line shared their expertise on marketing, branding, and creative strategy, providing valuable takeaways for attendees.

 

 

Wednesday featured two impactful events. The Chamber first celebrated the Placer Breast Cancer Foundation with a ribbon cutting recognizing, alongside UC Davis Health, the arrival of the new 3D Mobile Mammography Unit in Roseville—an important milestone that will help expand access to life-saving breast cancer screenings throughout the community.

 

 

Later that afternoon, members gathered for another Business Bootcamp featuring Craig Perra of Mindful Habit Mastery. His presentation, The Inner Blueprint: Understanding the Psychology Behind Your Patterns & Behaviors, encouraged attendees to better understand the habits and behaviors that influence both personal and professional success.

Coffee lovers have another reason to stop by the Chamber office—the Coffee Passport has officially been reprinted! The updated edition includes an exciting new addition: The Daily Nosh, now featured as the newest coffee destination in the Passport. Chamber members can pick up an updated passport free of charge, while non-members can purchase one for $10. It’s the perfect excuse to discover a new favorite local coffee spot while continuing to support the incredible cafés that make our community unique.

 

With September quickly approaching, excitement continues to build for the 30th Annual SPLASH! at the Roseville Aquatics Complex. This signature Chamber event returns on Saturday, September 12, for an evening of unlimited food and beverage tastings, live entertainment, and community celebration. Tickets are limited, and we encourage everyone to secure theirs early for one of Roseville's favorite annual traditions.

 

Looking ahead, the Chamber is preparing to host its UCAN Legislative Reception on August 12. This invitation-only event brings together local legislators, business leaders, and community partners for meaningful conversations about the priorities and challenges impacting our region's industries. The Chamber also invites the community to attend the District 6 Congressional Candidates Forum on October 8. The nonpartisan forum will feature Congressman Kevin Kiley and Dr. Richard Pan in a moderated discussion focused on the issues affecting California's 6th Congressional District and the future of our region. The event provides voters with an opportunity to hear directly from both candidates while learning more about their priorities and perspectives. Proceeds from the event will not be used to support any political campaign.

 

In advocacy updates, attention is beginning to shift toward California's November ballot, where voters will consider several significant measures related to taxes, housing, healthcare, education, and other statewide issues. A number of these proposals have generated differing viewpoints among labor organizations and other stakeholder groups, highlighting the complexity of many of this year's ballot measures. As Election Day approaches, the Chamber will continue monitoring developments and providing members with information about issues that could impact California's business climate and public policy.
