What a week! From celebrating the success of our 30th Annual SPLASH to welcoming new members and creating opportunities for connection, leadership, and civic engagement, there was plenty happening throughout the Chamber community.

 

We want to extend a huge thank you to everyone who attended, participated in, and supported our 30th Annual SPLASH this past weekend! It was a fun evening filled with amazing vendor décor, food, and beverages, and we were thrilled to celebrate this milestone year with our community.

Thank you to all of our vendors for bringing their effort, excitement, and passion to SPLASH this year, and to all of our attendees who took the time to vote! As we wrap up this year’s event, we also want to hear from you. Please take a couple of moments to complete our post-event survey and share your feedback so we can continue to improve and grow the event for next year. We had a great time celebrating with our community and look forward to seeing everyone again next year!

 

The week continued Tuesday with our Brewing Opportunities Morning Mixer at Haute Coffee, where members gathered for conversation and connection over delicious pastries and a variety of coffee options.

 

Later that day, we welcomed our newest veteran-owned business, Junkluggers of Placer County, to the Chamber community.

 

On Wednesday, about 15 new members joined us for our monthly orientation, an opportunity to connect with one another and learn more about the resources and benefits available through Chamber membership.

 

We’re also excited to welcome three new members this week:

For our young professionals, IGNITE Young Professionals is now accepting applications for its Leadership Council. Council members will help plan and execute IGNITE events and programs while serving a two-year term, with monthly meetings held on the first Friday of each month at 9:00 a.m. at the Roseville Area Chamber of Commerce.

Applications are open through October 16 for young professionals interested in developing their leadership skills, building connections with peers, and contributing to the future direction of IGNITE.

 

 

 

As the November 3 General Election approaches, the Roseville Area Business and Issues Political Action Committee (PAC) has put together a voter guide outlining business-related stances for voters to review. Voters can find the guide on the Chamber website.

Key election dates to keep in mind include October 19 as the last day to register to vote, with county elections offices beginning to mail ballots as early as October 5. Those voting by mail should plan accordingly to ensure their ballot is postmarked by Election Day.

 

 

Finally, livestream registration is now open for the District 6 Congressional Candidates Forum on Thursday, October 8, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Those who register for the livestream will receive the link during the week of the event.

For those interested in attending in person, limited tickets remain available for $35, including breakfast and coffee. Funds from the event do not go toward candidate campaigns.

We do have a new location for the event, which will be shared with those who purchase tickets next week. We look forward to this informative discussion!
