Chamber Highlights | Week Of Oct. 12-16
October 16, 2026
What a busy week at the Roseville Area Chamber! From business education and networking to celebrating member achievements, developing future leaders, and preparing for the upcoming election, our community had plenty of opportunities to connect, learn, and grow.
We kicked things off with our Home Services Roundtable, where members gathered to connect, collaborate, and learn from Brandon Walcott of Xtechs.
Tuesday brought our October Luncheon at Randy Peters Event Center, featuring Dr. Brian Gladden of Strategy & Innovation Institute. Dr. Gladden shared insights on the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) and how businesses can use it to build greater clarity, accountability, and results.

Wednesday morning started with Brewing Connections at MoJoe’s, where members enjoyed good coffee, great conversations, and a little crisp fall air.

That same day, the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Sacramento announced the winners of its 12th Annual Influence Awards, celebrating the talent, innovation, and storytelling power of the region’s public relations and communications professionals.
We’re proud that the Roseville Area Chamber of Commerce received Influence & Merit Awards for both the 2026 Ignite Torch Forum: Young Professionals Conference and the 2026 Coffee Passport Program!
We’re also thrilled to celebrate our members’ accomplishments, including Calkin Public Affairs, named Influential Agency of the Year, and MarketSharePR, recipient of the CAPPIE Award.
Congratulations as well to Capitol Tech Solutions, Drisha Leggitt & Company Communications, Placer County, Placer County Water Agency, the City of Roseville, UC Davis Health, and Western Placer Waste Management Authority. We’re fortunate to have so many talented organizations shaping stories and strengthening communities throughout our region!

Thursday brought a fantastic Women in Business meeting facilitated by Marcie Shelton of The Leader’s Partner, with Lindsey Duenat of Maven Works HR sharing practical strategies for more effective communication.

We wrapped up the day at the South Placer Joint Mixer at Sports Basement, creating even more opportunities to connect and build relationships.

Leadership Roseville also spent Thursday at Roseville City Hall for Civics Day, learning about local government from City Manager Dom Casey, Mayor Krista Bernasconi, Placer County CEO Daniel Chatigny, Kate Rebello of the City Manager’s Office, Planning Commissioner Kim Ryan Unidad, and City Attorney Michelle Sheidenberger.

Class members put their learning into practice through a mock Planning Commission hearing on the Sunrise Office Center, taking on roles as commissioners, applicant, opponent, and members of the public.
Thank you to our session sponsor, Sequoia Advisory Group, and to Supervisor Bonnie Gore and Mayor Krista Bernasconi for helping lead this engaging class experience!
On Friday, theÂ
Fired Up Business Forum for Young Professionals brought emerging professionals and established leaders together for meaningful conversations about leadership, mentorship, professional growth, and empowering the next generation of business leaders.
The event featured keynote speaker Amy Ohran, President and CEO of Palisades Tahoe, alongside panelists Andrea and Chris Gallardo, Co-Founders of Alchemy Surf Resort, and John Jacobs, Vice President of Communications for Sacramento Republic FC.
We also celebrated three members with ribbon cuttings this week: Placer Freedom Foundation on Wednesday, followed by Workforce Integrity Partners, LLC, and Sports Basement on Thursday. Congratulations to all three on these exciting milestones! We’re grateful to celebrate your businesses and the work you’re doing in our community.

As Election Day approaches on November 3, the
Roseville Area Business and Issues Political Action Committee (RAB/IPAC) is sharing its 2026 Voter Guide, highlighting ballot propositions and measures relevant to businesses, along with candidates representing our region. The guide is also available under the PAC tab on our website.
Locally, the RAIPAC has announced its support for the City of Roseville’s Measure A, which would amend the City Charter to increase City Councilmember compensation from $600 to $2,550 per month and allow annual inflation adjustments capped at 5%. The City notes that the current compensation level was established in 2000 and has remained unchanged. Voters can review the City’s official Election information for the details on the measure and other resources.
From sharing business insights and celebrating award-winning members to investing in future leaders and helping our community stay informed, it was another full week of connecting business and strengthening community!
