Chamber Highlights | Week Of Jun. 15-19
June 19, 2026
It was another week of connection, celebration, and leadership development as Chamber members gathered to learn, network, and strengthen relationships across our region.

The week began Tuesday with the Non-Profit Roundtable at Hearts Landing Ranch, where more than 30 leaders from the region’s nonprofit community came together to connect and learn. Attendees heard from Jacob Thomassen of CLA, who shared insights on board structure and governance, providing valuable tools to help organizations strengthen leadership and maximize their impact.

On Wednesday, the Chamber welcomed 20 new members during Orientation, where participants learned how to make the most of their Chamber membership, resources, and benefits.

The day also included a ribbon cutting celebration for Vivere Spa, marking an exciting milestone for the business and its continued investment in the Roseville community.

Thursday started bright and early with Brewing Opportunities, a morning mixer sponsored by Redwood Glen Business Solutions and hosted at Bloom Coffee & Tea. Members and guests enjoyed a great opportunity to network, build new connections, and start the day with meaningful conversations.

The Chamber also celebrated two additional ribbon cuttings this week, recognizing Smith Family Medicine and The Daily Nosh as they marked important milestones in their growth.

We were also pleased to welcome six new members to the Chamber community this week:
- TriArk Roofing
- Fix Auto Collision
- Belegrin Properties
- Next Health – Roseville
- Togo’s
- Oaken Co.
We are excited to continue growing a diverse and engaged membership that contributes to the strength and vitality of our regional business community.

Thursday also marked a special occasion as the Chamber celebrated the graduation of the Leadership Roseville Class of 2026. Over the past year, these dedicated professionals have strengthened their leadership skills, deepened their understanding of the community, and built lasting connections that will help shape Roseville’s future. We congratulate each graduate and look forward to seeing the positive impact they will continue to make throughout our region.
In advocacy updates, the Chamber continued engaging in important discussions around policies and initiatives affecting businesses and economic development across the region.
On June 15, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce hosted a roundtable discussion with Congressman Kevin Kiley focused on helping businesses understand and leverage opportunities available through the “One Big Beautiful Bill Act.” The legislation includes provisions that may benefit businesses through qualified business income deductions, research and development expense deductions, expanded equipment and building improvement write-offs, enhanced small business stock exclusions, and increased employer-provided childcare credits. The Chamber also participated in the Joint Government Relations Meeting hosted by the Lincoln Chamber of Commerce, where attendees received an update on the Regional Public Safety Training Center planned near Sunset Boulevard and Fiddyment Road. Sierra College Superintendent and President Willy Duncan shared details about the approximately 50-acre facility, which is designed to provide state-of-the-art training opportunities for first responders while supporting workforce development and economic growth throughout the region. Future phases of the project will include environmental review, design and operational planning, and implementation based on funding availability.
The Chamber is also closely monitoring AB 122 (Budget Committee) / SB 122 (Budget Committee) Taxation Trailer Bill. On June 15th, the Assembly Budget Committee reviewed and voted on amendments pertaining to AB 122. This bill is now under Senate Budget Committee reviewal and represents the following:
- Software as a Service (SaaS) Taxation: Beginning January 1, 2027, the bill would redefine "tangible personal property" to include certain digital products, including SaaS, making them subject to California sales and use tax.
