Chamber Highlights | Week Of Jul. 6-10

July 10, 2026

It was another week of celebrating local businesses, strengthening connections, and looking ahead to exciting opportunities across the Chamber community.

The week began with two ribbon cutting celebrations honoring valued Chamber members. On Tuesday, we celebrated GYMGUYZ, followed by Golden Age Retirement Home, LLC on Wednesday. These milestones reflect the continued growth and success of businesses throughout our region, and we're proud to celebrate alongside them as they continue serving the Roseville community.

Thursday morning, more than 30 members and guests gathered at The Bean Roasting Co. for our monthly Brewing Opportunities Morning Mixer. The event provided another great opportunity for business professionals to connect, build new relationships, and start the day with meaningful conversation over coffee.

We’re also excited to welcome eight new members to the Roseville Area Chamber family:

  • CYT Sacramento
  • Five More Minutes Video
  • Christine & Co Concierge, LLC
  • Quick Quack N Sunrise
  • Julie Hanson Consulting
  • Looking Forward Photo Booths
  • My LLM Media
  • Culture & Crumb

We’re grateful to have these businesses join our growing Chamber community and look forward to supporting their continued success.

Looking for another way to get involved? The Chamber is currently seeking enthusiastic members to join our award-winning 5-Star Ambassador Team.

Chamber Ambassadors play an important role in welcoming new members, supporting Chamber events, strengthening business relationships, and serving as advocates for the local business community. It's a rewarding opportunity to build connections, expand your network, and help create a positive experience for businesses throughout our region.

Looking ahead, excitement is building for the 30th annual SPLASH! celebration. Tickets go on sale Monday, July 13, with Early Bird pricing available for a limited time before the next pricing tier begins. Returning to the Roseville Aquatics Complex on Saturday, September 12, this signature community event promises an evening of great food, entertainment, and live music from Clean Slate. Sponsorship opportunities also remain available for businesses looking to support one of the Chamber's most anticipated annual events.

The Chamber also invites members to attend the next Economic Development & Government Affairs Committee meeting on Friday, July 24, at Randy Peters Catering & Events Center. This month's program will feature a Healthcare Panel exploring the opportunities and challenges surrounding our region's aging population. The discussion will include leaders from Dignity Health, WellSpace Health, Kaiser Permanente, Sutter Roseville Medical Center, and UC Davis Health, with CBS Sacramento Morning Anchor Dominic Garcia serving as moderator.

In advocacy updates, the Chamber continues monitoring legislation that could significantly impact California businesses.

AB 2564, the Surveillance Pricing Act, would place new restrictions on how businesses use consumer data when determining pricing. Opponents argue the proposal expands well beyond the existing California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), creating additional regulatory requirements and compliance costs for businesses already operating under California's extensive privacy laws. The bill remains active, and stakeholders continue working to voice concerns as it moves through the legislative process.

The Chamber is also closely tracking AB 1776, the COMPETE Act, which would significantly expand California's antitrust law by establishing new standards for business conduct. Business groups have expressed concern that the legislation could increase litigation, expose companies of all sizes to costly legal challenges, and require businesses to devote significant resources toward defending lawsuits instead of investing in growth, innovation, and job creation. The bill is currently awaiting a hearing before the Senate Appropriations Committee, and the Chamber will continue advocating for policies that promote a competitive business climate and support economic growth throughout California.
