Placer One Ground-Breaking

On Friday, October 21st, I had the honor of attending the ground breaking for Placer One, a 2,213 acre master-planned community north of Roseville that is a unique partnership between Placer County, California State University, Sacramento, Sierra College, and Taylor Builders.
Placer One will include The Sacramento State Placer Center. This collaboration between Sacramento State and Sierra College will be a new campus designed to serve our growing region. This economic catalyst will host 1,500 full-time students in its initial opening, with plans to grow to a full-size campus of 12,000 students over a 15-year period!
